Project description

In Canton of Solothurn, this elegant contemporary home has undergone a complete roof renovation. The homeowner's objective was clear: to modernise the property while preserving its architectural character and refined appearance.

To achieve this, Solaris™ Heritage photovoltaic roof tiles were installed on the main roof sections, while traditional roof tiles were retained around the perimeter. The result is remarkably harmonious, with both materials blending naturally to create an elegant and discreet roof.

This project also highlights the flexibility of the Freesuns system. The photovoltaic roof tiles integrate easily around existing roof features, such as the chimney or solar thermal panels, ensuring a clean finish without compromising either aesthetics or performance.

Completed in collaboration with Bernhard AG, this project demonstrates how an energy-efficient roof renovation can enhance a home's value while respecting its architectural identity.
