Project description

For this new construction with contemporary architecture, the client had seen neighbouring houses with traditional solar panels and semi-integrated solar solutions but he was not happy with the appearance of either.

The client was looking for a more integrated design with a sleek, modern look which would complement the house but also achieve maximum solar generation capacity - a difficult challenge given the 4 triangular roof surfaces.

Using the Freesuns' unique triangular tiles designed and pre-cut specifically for triangular shaped roof surfaces, the result was full solar coverage across the complete roof surface and a roof which looks absolutely stunning.
