Project description

The century-old Collège des Parcs was in need of major renovation and upgrading. As project owner, the City of Neuchâtel wanted to restore the building to its original glory, adopting a renovation approach that respected its exterior and interior architecture, while improving its energy balance by installing an integrated solar roof. The City of Neuchâtel chose Freesuns as its partner to cover the entire roof with solar tiles, and the Volet company as the roofer responsible for the installation. Work on the roof is now completed, while the rest of the building is still under renovation.

Discover the video of this splendid project, as well as the renovation of two other public buildings in Neuchâtel, a city that can boast of its concrete actions towards the energy transition.
